Job summary

atmaal is seeking an AI Integration Engineer in Riyadh to develop high-performance backend services using Python and Node.js, and to design APIs for internal and external platforms.

You will implement secure authentication, caching with Redis/Memcached, and containerized deployments on Kubernetes environments to ensure scalability and low latency. Collaboration with frontend, data engineering, and DevOps teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience developing backend services.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Node.js.
• Proven experience building and maintaining RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, JWT, and RBAC for secure integrations.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable backend architectures.
• Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana.

• Design, document, and maintain backend AI integration solutions including RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Ensure adherence to technical standards, secure coding practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversee data ingestion, cleaning, and labeling processes to ensure data quality before model training.
• Coordinate model testing and validation, including functional, performance, and bias testing.
• Support production deployment processes and ensure proper rollback and release procedures.
• Monitor system performance and maintain monitoring dashboards to detect drift and trigger retraining workflows when required.

Job Purpose

The AI Integration Engineer will be responsible for developing high-performance backend services using Python and Node.js, while ensuring adherence to clean coding and secure development standards. The role involves designing, documenting, and maintaining robust APIs including RESTful and SOAP services for both internal platforms and external third-party integrations.

The engineer will implement secure authentication mechanisms, caching layers such as Redis and Memcached, and containerized deployments on Kubernetes environments (OKE) to ensure high availability, scalability, and low-latency operations. The role also requires close collaboration with frontend, data engineering, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable end-to-end solutions.
