Job summary

A leading agricultural firm in Northern Borders Province is seeking an experienced Agronomist to conduct trials and support product development. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Ag Science and extensive experience in agronomy and product development processes. Proficiency in English is required, along with strong skills in soil fertility and statistical analysis.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years practicing agronomy, extensive exposure to product development.
• Proven expertise in a scientific discipline, preferably in soil science or chemistry.
• Excellent in development and adaptation of chemical analysis methods.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct agronomic and other trials to support and develop marketing materials for product launch
• Drive and support business in marketing and sales to customers of new products
• Contribute to the product development process in accolade and provide product development agronomy and market development support
• Build the capabilities, shared agronomy platform, customer needs identification, innovation pipeline and standard process to commercialization

Qualifications

• Bachelor Ag Science, Soil science, Agronomy
• 5-10 years practicing agronomy, extensive exposure to product development processes
• Advanced working knowledge in soil fertility, crop nutrition and soil nutrients management
• Proven expertise in a scientific discipline, preferably in soil science, chemistry, demonstrated through a doctoral degree and/or the publication of relevant scientific papers
• Proven expertise in statistical analysis and using the right methods and software
• Excellent laboratory experience
• Excellent in development and adaptation of chemical analysis method
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• High capability to learn and develop the others employers
• Organize and carry-out fertilizer research experiments
