Job Description

As a Park Supervisor, you will be responsible for the operations and supervision of a range of Leisure and Entertainment activities across a 20,000 SQM Adventure Park. Designed for adults and kids, this space is supported by hospitality keys in both the park itself and an adjacent resort, and varying food and beverage outlets. Elevated adventure experiences such as ropes courses, trampolining, and climbing walls, sit alongside ground-based radio-controlled cars and cultural arts and craft experiences. The park has been designed as a destination location, offering fun-filled entertainment for the whole family. Experiences are positioned both outdoors amongst the natural rocks and juniper trees, along with indoor attractions.

As a supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing activity instructors, ensuring a fun, safe and professional environment. All supervisors are expected to support as instructors, which consists of three core designations, providing dynamic and varying roles across the whole project.

Responsibilities
  • Attraction Experiences: Manage guest experiences across a wide range of activities and attractions, nurturing a fun but safe environment.
  • Day-to-day safe operation and supervision of all adventure activities (e.g., climbing, freefall, trampolines, soft play area).
  • Access control to activities via the park-selected ticketing function, ensuring guests have the appropriate ticket type.
  • Ensure each attraction adheres to minimum and maximum age, height, and weight parameters in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly checks on attractions and PPE to ensure safety and maintenance.
  • Participate in regular training on park processes, safety protocols and rescue procedures to ensure maximum safe operations and preparedness.
  • Provide excellent customer service and strive to achieve the park's guest experience Net Promoter Score targets; assist in addressing guest queries and resolving complaints for optimal experience.
  • Report to and communicate with park supervisors and duty manager on issues, equipment damage or safety concerns.
  • Support in delivering memorable bespoke experiences for birthday parties, school groups and corporate team building events.
  • Cultural Experiences: Deliver guest experiences that showcase the region’s culture, history and uniqueness; examples include art and craft experiences, honey walk, and local baking/incense workshops.
  • Ticketing and Promotions: Provide front-of-house and sales team support during peak seasons; upsell to higher ticket options; complete participant waivers; offer front-of-house greetings and promotions support.
  • Support the sales team with promotions within Al Baha through events, promotional flyers and other marketing initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Oversee activity operators within the park, ensuring a safe environment for employees and guests.
  • Deliver regular training to maintain a high level of professionalism and safety.
  • Advocate for safe operations and foster a culture of safety across the park.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and safe operating procedures.
  • Monitor operations and use a plan–do–check–act approach to continuous improvement.
  • Handle managerial administration such as rostering, performance reviews, onboarding, and annual leave planning.
  • Support park management with auditing to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Resolve day-to-day conflicts and guest issues with a long-term solution approach.
