Job summary

Maseera in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced accounting supervisor to supervise and coordinate day-to-day accounting and finance activities, maintain accurate books, and ensure compliance with policies.

You will manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, bank transactions, monthly closings, and financial reports, coordinate with project teams, assist audits, and support cost control and cash-flow forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day accounting and finance activities.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank transactions.
• Review and process supplier invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents.
• Monitor customer receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Prepare and review monthly closing activities and financial reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, customer accounts, and general ledger balances.
• Monitor project-wise expenses, costs, and budgets.
• Coordinate with project/site teams regarding cost allocation, invoices, expenses, and supporting documents.
• Verify subcontractor and supplier invoices against contracts, purchase orders, work orders, and approvals.
• Assist in project cost control and budget monitoring.
• Support preparation of cash-flow statements and payment forecasts.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Assist with internal and external audits and provide required financial information.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, commercial, HR, and project teams for finance-related matters.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare MIS and other financial reports as required by management.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and allocate daily accounting tasks.
