Job summary

Future Charter Trading Company in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure complete financial records in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes preparing VAT returns under ZATCA, handling accounts payable/receivable, performing month-end closing, payroll processing, and ensuring HR and procurement staff documentation compliance. IFRS knowledge and ERP proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant accounting degree and professional knowledge in IFRS and VAT rules.
• Experience with Saudi VAT/ZATCA regulations is essential.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Prepare and file VAT returns in accordance with ZATCA regulations
• Process accounts payable and receivable including invoice verification payment processing and collections follow-up
• Perform monthly A P A R and bank reconciliations
• Support month-end closing activities income statements balance sheets cash flow statements
• Manage payroll processing and related documentation
• Maintain accurate Iqama and labor documentation for staff coordinating with HR
• Maintain petty cash records and ensure adherence to internal expense controls
• Support inventory reconciliation with procurement warehouse teams
