Job summary

IDP Education Ltd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Finance & Accounts professional to manage bookkeeping, trial balance, and financial statement preparation using ERP systems. Qualifications

• Educated to Accounting degree or equivalent AUC or “English Section”
• ERP, Financial application Experience is a must
• Excellent Excel Skill is a must
• Experience in accounting practices and principles
• Usually a minimum of 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping and preparation of financial statement, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing and taxation

• Bookkeeping, trial balance and financial statement preparation.
• Passing the GL entries and maintain a Trial Balance and prepare the FS using ERP system to prepare the audit file.
• Awareness of Tax law in KSA to prepare quarterly and yearly submissions and prepare tax schedules.
• Reconcile daily collection receipts and compile entries to General Ledger accounts.
• External Audit preparation, discussion, support to finance manager/Auditor.
• Apply financial policies and procedures of the company and assist with additional projects.

Role Purpose

The position is required for the working on all Finance and Accounts related jobs in the function at local country level.

Key Accountabilities

• Bookkeeping/Trial Balance/ FS Preparation
  • Passing the GL entries and maintain a Trial Balance and prepare the FS using ERP system in order to prepare the audit file.
• GST/VAT
  • Awareness of Tax law in KSA in order prepare the quarterly and yearly submissions.
  • Prepare tax schedules and apply basic knowledge of tax rules to assist in preparation of tax reports and returns.
• Collection/ Receipt Reconciliation
  • Use judgment and professional accuracy skills in determining appropriate procedures for preparation of accounting records, research of transactions and reporting.
  • Reconcile the daily collection receipts.
  • Compile and prepare entries to General Ledger accounts.
• Document accounting transactions, using procedures defined by internal & external stakeholders.
• Audit
  • External Audit preparation, discussion, support to finance manager/ Auditor.
• Compliance
  • Apply the financial policies and procedures of the company. Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management.
  • Perform additional projects as assigned.
