Job summary

IDP International Education Specialists in Riyadh is seeking an experienced accountant to manage general ledger entries, trial balance and financial statements using ERP systems. The role includes GST/VAT awareness, tax scheduling and audit support in a UAE/KSA tax-compliant environment.

The ideal candidate has an accounting degree, at least five years’ experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting and taxation, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Educated to Accounting degree or equivalent AUC or “English Section”
• ERP, Financial application Experience is a must.
• Excellent Excel Skill is a must.
• Experience in accounting practices and principles.
• Usually a minimum of 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping and preparation of financial statement, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing and taxation.

Responsibilities

• Passing the GL entries and maintain a Trial Balance and prepare the FS using ERP system in order to prepare the audit file.
• Awareness of GST/VAT and quarterly/yearly submissions in KSA.
• Prepare tax schedules and apply basic knowledge of tax rules to assist in preparation of tax reports and returns.
• Use judgment and professional accuracy in determining procedures for preparation of accounting records, research of transactions and reporting.
• Reconcile the daily collection receipts.
• Compile and prepare entries to General Ledger accounts.
• Document accounting transactions using procedures defined by internal & external stakeholders.
• External Audit preparation, discussion, support to finance manager/Auditor.
• Apply the company’s financial policies and procedures; bring inconsistencies to management attention.
• Perform additional projects as assigned.

Description
