Job summary

PROVEN is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting functions in a healthcare technology environment in Saudi Arabia. You will focus on AR, AP, journal entries, and maintaining precise financial records to ensure timely processing of transactions.

The role requires 3–4 years of accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and strong attention to detail. Collaboration with internal teams and adherence to accounting standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in AR, AP, and general accounting; medical equipment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Handle Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and payment-related documentation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
• Process and record accounting transactions in a timely manner.
• Perform account reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
• Support financial reporting and accounting-related requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding accounting transactions and documentation.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
• Support the Finance team with additional accounting activities as required.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Accountant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting activities, with a particular focus on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and general accounting. The role will support the maintenance of accurate financial records, timely processing of accounting transactions, account reconciliations, and the smooth execution of the company’s financial operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS

Education / Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

• 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and general accounting principles and practices.
• Experience within the Medical Equipment industry is highly preferred.
