Job summary

Vistas Global is seeking an experienced Water Technical Trainer to deliver technical training programmes, develop learning materials, assess trainee performance, and support the continuous improvement of water and mechanical training standards. This is a full‑time position based in Qatar.

The ideal candidate holds a mechanical engineering degree with a Train the Trainer certification, 5+ years in engineering and at least 1 year in training, and hands-on experience with water systems or utility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Train the Trainer certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years engineering experience, incl. at least 1 year in training or L&D.
• Experience with water systems, mechanical equipment or utility operations.
• Strong knowledge of competency-based training and performance assessment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training programmes for water and mechanical systems.
• Develop lesson plans and learning content, and manage training materials.
• Assess trainee performance and support certification activities.
• Manage training equipment, workshops and instructional resources.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of training quality standards.

• Training Methodology Certification (Train the Trainer) is required

• Experience in water systems, mechanical equipment, or utility operations is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of competency-based training, technical instruction, and performance assessment
