Job summary

Swan Global is seeking a Training Technician – Water to support practical technical training by preparing laboratory equipment and maintaining training facilities in Doha, Qatar. Qualifications

• Diploma or higher diploma in a technical discipline related to mechanical, electrical engineering or water technology.
• Experience in water treatment plants, utilities, lab operations or equipment maintenance is required.
• Proven ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on lab and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain custody of laboratory equipment, tools and training materials.
• Prepare equipment and materials before each training session.
• Support trainers during laboratory sessions, demonstrations, and trainee assessments.
• Perform preventive maintenance, routine servicing and minor repairs on equipment and machinery.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, leaks and emergency maintenance.
• Operate and maintain pumps, valves, flowmeters, pipelines and water treatment equipment.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot lab instruments and water quality monitoring equipment.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping standards in the laboratory.
