Job summary

UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company seeks a Group Business Development Director - MENA to identify and secure major infrastructure investments across the Middle East, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. • Deal origination and market sourcing capabilities.

• Regional market and political economy understanding for MENA/Africa.
• Experience with cost estimation and stage-gate processes.
• Bankability criteria development and project documentation skills.
• Sector-specific governance and project standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead deal origination across MENA/Africa with a robust pipeline in ports, airports, energy, real estate, mining and more.
• Develop and execute a regional business development strategy engaging governments and asset owners.
• Build relationships with co-investors and strategic partners to enable investment syndication.
• Identify and qualify investment opportunities using market research and commercial analysis.
• Support gate-based bankability and readiness for Investment Committee approval.
• Negotiate term sheets and framework agreements with governments and co-investors.
• Engage with financial institutions for financing and partnerships.
• Provide strategic market intelligence and advisory to senior management.
