Job summary

QNB Group seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of multiple large-scale IT initiatives. You will set phased implementation plans and manage scope, time, cost, and quality within a complex banking environment.

You will lead project teams, ensure governance and stakeholder communication, and drive efficiencies while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. A strong PM background and international banking exposure are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology (related field).
• At least 12 years of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank.
• Training courses and certifications in systems technology, management and banking.
• Professional certifications such as PMI and Prince II.

Responsibilities

• Define portfolio goals to be achieved and measurement methods.
• Oversees and develops project managers on stakeholder management, requirements, and resource management.
• Approve the schedule of projects and work program; ensure timely vendor selection and procurement of equipment, hardware, software.
• Direct the successful implementation of projects, including business process restructuring for efficient operations.
• Monitor project risk, quality management and ensure SLAs are met.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology
