Job summary

QNB Group is seeking an experienced software development lead to manage in-house and distributed applications. You will guide development teams, ensure alignment with strategic objectives, and deliver secure, scalable software solutions for banking operations.

You will work on web and mobile platforms, implement best practices, and participate in security-focused architecture discussions while maintaining compliance with ISO 27001 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in financial services with web or mobile app development.
• Knowledge in .Net and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Analyze and improve architecture to meet latest industry standards.
• Design secure, scalable end-to-end software solutions for complex implementations.
• Training courses and certification in systems technology and banking software.
• Courses in IT security architecture are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze possible software changes to align with Group strategy.
• Design, implement, document and develop applications per budget and plan.
• Implement KPIs and best practices for in-house and distributed applications.
• Develop new applications per user requirements and plan.
• Perform testing, debugging and revisions to ensure correct functionality.
• Comply with information security standards and ISO 27001 requirements.
