Job summary

Brunel is seeking an experienced contract and procurement professional in Doha, Qatar, responsible for managing the full contract life cycle for high-value turnaround services. You will coordinate scope analysis, tender planning, and approvals, while driving cost control and efficient procurement processes.

The role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience, proficiency with SAP PM/MM and MS Office, and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 5-10 years' direct and relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Working knowledge of SAP PM and SAP MM modules.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an effective contract life cycle for goods and services in a cost effective and professional manner.
• Analyze scope of work and plan enquiry or tendering process; select contract type.
• Prepare memos for authorities and obtain approvals.
• Initiate procurement processes; consolidate requirements for turnaround section.
• Explore long-term contracts for recurring contracting services.
• Identify bidders for direct invitations and closed tenders with Supply Chain; initiate tenders after approvals.
• Develop and monitor planning and control system procedures; create policies and methodologies.
• Support cost control by reporting cost forecast trends and highlighting overruns.
• Review, monitor and report turnarounds expenditure; prepare progress and accrual reports.
