Job summary

QAFCO is seeking a Turnaround Engineer for Contracts & Costing to lead the contract lifecycle for high-value turnaround projects. You will coordinate with Sr. Engineers, review contractor plans, and ensure accurate cost data and reporting to support the Turnaround team.

The role involves developing and maintaining cost databases, supporting long-term Capex planning, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and data integrity across finance and supply chain functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years direct/relevant experience in turnaround/contracting roles.
• Experience with SAP/4HANA EAM is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and optimize turnaround contracting processes to protect company interests.
• Coordinate with senior engineers to ensure smooth turnaround contracting services.
• Develop and maintain cost data for capex and opex related to turnarounds.
• Support preparation of monthly/quarterly turnaround cost reports and trends.
• Work with finance, procurement and planning to ensure accurate data in the turnaround management system.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering
