Job summary

Swan Global is seeking a qualified professional to lead the creation and validation of digital maintenance documentation. You will administer the CMS, source information across SAP, Cormap, and SharePoint, and ensure timely publication of SOPs for maintenance teams.

In this role, you will support HSE initiatives, align with HSQE policies, and collaborate with engineers and technical managers to drive compliance and continuous improvement in industrial documentation processes.

Qualifications

Experience with Digital Maintenance Management Systems.
Proven experience delivering technical documentation in a heavy industry environment (Rolling Stock maintenance highly preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Technical Documentation: Write, check, and validate digital documentation and Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with project and company policies using professional editing tools. Administer the Content Management System to ensure a single source of accurate information is available digitally to all maintenance staff.
System Integration: Utilize systems such as SAP, Cormap, SharePoint, and others to source information and configure the documentation system for optimum creation, approval, distribution, and publication.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Assist the Program Manager in implementing safe systems and controls within your area of responsibility. Understand, implement, and comply with company HSQE policies, and fully participate in the behavioral safety agenda.
Compliance: Ensure all data and information within the local documentation system is updated and approved in compliance with local procedures and the company's compliance policies and reporting ethos.
Engineering Liaison: Work closely with Maintenance Engineers, Technical Managers, and Engineering Services to facilitate successful and timely approvals.
Continuous Improvement & Quality: Continuously develop departmental processes and manage relationships with internal and external suppliers to position the company as an industry leader in train maintenance integrity.
