Technical Coordination Lead – Oil & Gas Projects

Job summary

Dietsmann Group is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager in coordinating Work Packages, tracking progress, and managing interfaces across maintenance, integrity, inspection, and CMMS.

You will monitor the Work Task Schedule, prepare dashboards and management reports, escalate risks, and ensure timely deliverables while liaising with WP Leads and senior stakeholders. Candidates should have a technical engineering background and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in maintenance engineering, asset integrity, project coordination, or engineering services, preferably in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or offshore projects.
• Good understanding of maintenance strategies and programs, equipment criticality, HB, inspection, integrity, spare parts/BOM, and CMMS.
• Working knowledge of project planning, scope management, cost control, progress measurement, and resource management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong PowerPoint presentation/reporting capabilities.
• Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with SAP PM, Maximo, Power BI, or similar project and asset-management tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Work Packages by monitoring progress, deliverables, risks, issues, resources, and contractual commitments.
• Maintain and monitor the Work Task Schedule (WTS), milestones, priorities, and dependencies across WPs and WUs.
• Assist project planning, cost monitoring, resource forecasting, progress measurement, and management reporting.
• Coordinate WP Leads to resolve interface issues, manage priorities, and ensure timely deliverable issuance.
• Monitor deliverable status, document control, quality reviews, comments, and corrective actions.
• Prepare project dashboards, progress reports, management presentations, action trackers, and meeting minutes.
• Support technical discussions and maintain consistent communication and follow-up on actions.
• Provide technical coordination across Maintenance Engineering, HB, Integrity, Inspection, Spare Parts, and CMMS.
• Identify schedule slippage, resource constraints, scope gaps, and cross-WP risks; escalate with solutions.
• Support change management, scope clarification, progress validation, and preparation of documentation for commercial discussions.
