Job summary

Multilink Management Consultants in Doha, Qatar, seeks a Risk Management Coordinator to lead end-to-end risk management across projects, integrating with Planning/Scheduling, Cost Control and Change Management. You will facilitate risk identification, maintain the Risk Register, conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses (including Monte Carlo), and support contingency planning.

Fluency in English and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field are required; PMI-RMP or ISO 31000

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in project controls or risk management (planning/scheduling or cost control background is a strong advantage).
• Working knowledge of quantitative risk analysis techniques (Monte Carlo simulation, schedule risk analysis, cost risk analysis) and risk management standards (ISO 31000, PMI Practice Standard for Project Risk Management).
• Professional certification such as PMI-RMP or ISO 31000 familiarity is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Experience with risk and project controls software (Primavera Risk Analysis, @RISK, Active Risk Manager, Primavera P6).
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the identification of project risks across all phases through workshops and reviews.
• Maintain and update the project Risk Register with descriptions, categories, owners, causes and consequences.
• Screen risks arising from contract documents and site conditions.
• Coordinate qualitative risk assessment and support quantitative analyses like SRA and MCS.
• Support determination and review of schedule and cost contingencies.
• Track risk exposure trends and escalate changes to Project Control Manager and Project Manager.
• Develop and track risk response plans with owners and target dates.
• Monitor mitigation effectiveness and reassess residual risk after actions.
• Escalate overdue or high risks to leadership.
• Integrate risk inputs with project plans, cost forecasts and change registers.
• Capture lessons learned for bids and future projects.
