Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Cost Control Engineer in Doha to lead cost control activities for a major project. You will report to the Lead/Manager in the PCON Department and drive cost control with rigorous budgeting, analysis, and reporting.

Responsible for establishing CBS, monitoring earned value, and supporting changes/claims with cost impact assessment, while ensuring alignment with corporate requirements and international standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the requirement.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a cost control system to support PM decision-making.
• Ensure deviations from budget are spotted and analysed, estimating final impact.
• Create a cost awareness atmosphere among project team.
• Coordinate risk management activities and Monte Carlo analysis.
• Monitor earned value and cost against invoices, reporting monthly accruals.
• Support contract changes/claims with cost impact analysis.
• Prepare the Project Cost Control Procedure and CBS updates.
• Prepare cost feedback data for project close-out.
