Job summary

Rosewood Doha is seeking a Purchasing Officer to enter Purchase Orders in BirchStreet, coordinate with departments, track requisitions, and maintain the Market List. This role supports Receiving and Finance, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate PO management in a luxury hospitality setting.

You will work with a diverse team at Rosewood Doha, contributing to exemplary standards of service and efficiency in our procurement operations.

Responsibilities

• Enter Purchase Orders in BirchStreet and track missing items when the receiving team performs the receiving.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding Requisitions and possible orders.
• Maintain track of all Requisitions that are still pending to be converted into PO.
• Control and maintain the Market List in the system, updating description and prices when required.
• Extract monthly report for Open POs and maintain the system clean from any pending POs.
• Follow up with the suppliers regarding pending deliveries.
• Coordinate between departments and plan future orders effectively.
• Assist Receiving and Finance team when required.
