Job summary

Assets Group is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Director to lead the organization’s cost plans, monitor budgets, and report on financial performance. The role requires extensive experience in scheduling, cost management, and risk analysis, with ERP/SAP proficiency and strong leadership capabilities.

The candidate will establish KPIs, oversee vendor contracts, and ensure adherence to regulations and IMS policies while driving improvements across projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall work experience in project controls or governance.
• 10+ years in a management or leadership role.
• 5+ years GCC experience is a plus.
• Expertise in scheduling, cost management, and risk analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
• Strong analytical and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project budgets aligned with financial objectives.
• Develop accurate cost estimates and forecasts for planning.
• Monitor expenditures and prepare detailed cost reports for stakeholders.
• Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Assess financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget changes with formal approvals.
• Set KPIs to measure cost performance and drive improvements.
• Oversee vendor contracts and procurement costs.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and policies.
• Communicate cost information to senior management and project teams.
• Support HSE initiatives and align with IMS policies.
