Job summary

UCC Holding seeks an experienced Senior Cost Control Manager to lead cost control governance, forecasting, reporting, and performance management across Power and Oil & Gas EPC projects in Qatar.

The role requires 15+ years in cost control, strong budgeting, EAC/ETC experience, and leadership of cost control professionals. SAP/ERP proficiency and a background in mega EPC projects are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in Cost Control / Project Controls.
• Proven experience on large-scale / mega EPC projects in Power, Oil & Gas, or Energy.
• Strong experience in budgeting, cost forecasting, EAC/ETC, commitments, accruals, cash flow, and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce cost control procedures, standards, CBS, and reporting systems across EPC projects.
• Lead budget development, cost baseline, forecasting, EAC/EC, cash flow, and variance analysis.
• Monitor cost performance across multiple Power and Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Review and challenge forecasts, commitments, accruals, productivity, and cost risks.
• Govern variations, change orders, claims, and cost impacts.
• Prepare and review monthly cost reports, dashboards, forecasts, and executive cost summaries.
• Ensure cost data is accurate, transparent, audit-ready, and contract-compliant.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Cost Control Managers and Cost Engineers.

Position: Senior Cost Control Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Control Manager to lead cost control governance, forecasting, reporting, and performance management across Power and Oil & Gas EPC projects.

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in Cost Control / Project Controls.


• Proven experience on large-scale / mega EPC projects in Power, Oil & Gas, or Energy.


• Strong experience in budgeting, cost forecasting, EAC/ETC, commitments, accruals, cash flow, and cost reporting.


• Proven multi-project / portfolio-level cost control experience.


• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts, variations, change orders, claims, and cost impact assessment.


• Experience leading and mentoring Cost Control Managers / Cost Engineers.


• Strong experience with ERP / cost management systems, preferably SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Controls, or related discipline.


• Professional certification such as AACE, CCP, PMP, or equivalent is an advantage.


• Strong analytical, commercial, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
