Job summary

malomatia seeks a Portfolio Manager – Strategic Programs to oversee large, complex initiatives within Qatar’s government IT landscape. You will translate strategy into executable programs, coordinate with senior stakeholders, and ensure governance and regulatory compliance across delivery streams.

Reporting to the SBU Chief, you will lead cross-functional teams, shape program governance, and drive value creation by aligning capabilities with Qatar’s digital agenda.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, preferably an MBA with specialization in Project Management, from a recognized university
• Professional certification such as PMP is preferred
• Demonstrated success in practice building and team scaling
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies, automation, and modern system management tools
• Solid knowledge of system and software quality assurance standards, best practices, and methodologies

Responsibilities

• Strategic Responsibilities: Work closely with the SBU Chief and other executive leadership to formulate and implement strategic programs reinforcing malomatia’s position as the preferred IT services partner to the State of Qatar. Ensure strategic capabilities are nurtured within senior management, aligned with the company’s long-term vision. Oversee delivery of strategic projects for ministries and government authorities with excellence in quality and execution.
• Operational Responsibilities: Monitor execution plans for strategic programs to ensure alignment with current and future projects in malomatia’s pipeline. Partner with technical leaders to forecast future resource requirements aligned with Qatar’s long-term IT strategy. Conduct engagements with State stakeholders to understand evolving IT priorities and position malomatia’s capabilities accordingly.

Education
