Job summary

Mashreq in Doha seeks a Business Planning and Analysis Manager to lead management reporting, budgeting and financial modelling, delivering insights to senior management on performance, risks and profitability drivers.

You will coordinate annual budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning, manage tax filings and support corporate tax returns. The role requires 5–8 years in banking/financial services with strong analytical and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• CA, CPA, ACCA, or MBA with 5–8 years of experience in management reporting, financial planning, budgeting, business analysis, and tax compliance within the banking or financial services industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead management reporting and MIS reporting to provide actionable insights to senior management on performance, opportunities, risks and profitability drivers.
• Coordinate annual budgeting, planning, forecasting and financial modelling with variance analysis and scenario planning.
• Manage monthly WHT filings, contract reporting and related tax compliance; support annual corporate tax return prep and tax authority responses.
• Provide analytical support to the Head of Finance on profitability analysis, business initiatives and decision-making.
• Drive process improvements, reporting automation and finance projects for efficiency and controls.
• Coordinate with business units, Head Office, stakeholders and tax consultants on planning and reporting matters.
• Provide joint backup with Head of Finance for regulatory and financial reporting during absences.
• Ensure regulatory and financial reporting submissions are completed timely.
