Job summary

Choithrams in Doha is seeking a Store Operations professional to lead KPI attainment, inventory control, and floor execution. You will oversee stock availability, promotions, and back-end paperwork while ensuring compliance with SOPs and high store standards.

The role requires coordinating staff, maintaining planograms, and driving efficiency across daily operations to deliver superior customer service and cost control.

• Ensure business strategies achieve Retail KPIs including sales and cost targets.
• Maintain inventory and Days of Stock (DOS) at target levels and control shrinkage.
• Oversee smooth day-to-day store operations in line with SOPs (expiry management, shrinkage control, price updates, back-end documents).
• Ensure availability of store range and promotion stock via RP and manual replenishments.
• Coordinate staff deployment and manpower efficiency through delegation, supervision, training, roaster management, etc.
• Maintain store ambience, cleanliness, merchandise displays, and planograms to expected standards.
• Analyze reports and implement corrective actions on the floor to meet KPIs (sales, costs, shrinkage, inventory).
• Develop processes for efficient store operations aligned with departmental priorities.

Key Dimensions and Related Job Results

• Ensuring business strategies are in place in achieving Retail KPIs including sales and cost targets.
• Ensure that inventory and Days of Stock (DOS) is maintained at target levels inventory & shrinkage control.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the store in compliance with SOPs including but not limited to expiry management, shrinkage control, price update, back-end documents.
• Ensure availability of store range and promotion stock through RP and manual replenishments.
• Ensure efficient staff deployment and efficiency of manpower through delegation, supervision, training, roster management, leave planning etc. for smooth store operations.
• Ensure the store ambiance, cleanliness, merchandise displays, planogram etc. are maintained at expected levels.
• Analyze reports and implement necessary corrective actions on the floor towards achievement of KPIs which includes but not limited to sales, cost reduction, shrinkage controls, inventory optimization and maintaining availability.
• Derive and strategize processes for efficient store operations in line with departmental priorities.
