Qualifications

Job description

Execute product placement and displays in accordance with company guidelines and planograms Ensure that products are prominently displayed to maximize visibility and sales Monitor stock levels product expiration dates and replenishment needs Collaborate with inventory teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts Implement merchandising strategies developed by the Team Leader to align with business goals and product launches Follow planograms and guidelines for effective product presentation Assist in coordinating and executing in-store promotional activities including displays signage and product demonstrations Communicate promotional details to store personnel for effective customer engagement Maintain visual merchandising standards including window displays signage and store layouts Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and seasonal themes Ensure that product quality and presentation meet company standards and customer expectations Report any quality issues to the Team Leader for resolution Monitor and report on sales performance including sales trends inventory turnover and product performance Provide feedback and recommendations to the Team Leader based on data analysis Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner Address customer inquiries and concerns providing product information as needed Adhere to safety and health regulations in all merchandising activities Maintain a safe and organized work environment following safety protocols Actively approach and engage with customers to promote assigned FMCG products Demonstrate product features provide samples and communicate key selling points Persuasively explain product benefits to influence customer purchase decisions Highlight ongoing offers promotions and bundle deals to increase upselling Collect and report customer feedback and competitive intelligence to the Team Leader Support execution of marketing campaigns by ensuring accurate and attractive in-store promotion setup Build and maintain strong working relationships with store staff to ensure product visibility and cooperation

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus)
• Previous experience in merchandising or a related role, preferably within the FMCG industry
• A minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience in the same capacity
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of visual merchandising techniques
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident, approachable, and customer-service oriented
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required
