Job summary

GMG Doha is seeking a Store Inventory Controller responsible for managing the purchasing and replenishment of retail products and maintaining stock levels within the approved budget.

Work with store operations to ensure accurate stock records, efficient stock movements, timely deliveries, and compliance with health and safety procedures. You will coordinate with suppliers, perform weekly cycle counts, and support stock reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Product/category knowledge.
• Retail industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update inventory and stock systems within defined parameters.
• Receive deliveries and verify against purchase orders.
• Track stock movements and log transfers accurately.
• Maintain stock levels and highlight discrepancies.
• Alert management when approaching budget limits.
• Coordinate returns, damaged goods, and shelf space management.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and assist annual inventories.
