The Ned Doha in Qatar is seeking a Spa Attendant to manage changing rooms, thermal areas, and pool facilities to the highest standards of cleanliness and service.

You will assist in all departments as needed, maintain stocked facilities, and contribute to a first-class guest experience in one of Doha's iconic luxury destinations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class hospitality and exceed guest expectations with outstanding service.
• Maintain clean changing areas, lockers stocked with robes, towels, and slippers.
• Ensure poolside and spa areas are clean, stocked, and properly serviced.
• Stock/showers/bathrooms/grooming areas; monitor for spills and replenishment.
• Support juice bar service in pool and thermal areas.
• Promote a professional image and anticipate guest needs.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Spa Attendant to work within The Ned Doha. You would be responsible for the day to day running of the changing rooms, thermal sequencing and pool areas, to the required standard. To ensure all other areas of the facility are immaculately clean. To offer additional services within the changing facility.

Responsibilities

• To offer a first-class level of hospitality to the customer and to exceed the expectations of all our guests by providing the very best standards of customer service.
• To assist in all departments to suit the business needs.
• To ensure that the changing areas are clean, and that all lockers are stocked to the defined standard (one robe, one towel, one pair of slippers and a small towel). To also ensure that there is ice water available, and there is fruit available.
• Ensure that the spa attendant areas are open during the required hours, fully stocked and neat.
• Ensure that the showers are clean, fully stocked and have a shower matt available.
• Ensure that the bathrooms are clean and are fully stocked.
• To ensure that the poolside areas are clean, all beds are neat and have a towel on each also ensure that ice water is available with cups throughout the poolside area.
• To ensure that the thermal sequencing area is clean, with a full stock of towels and ice water is available.
• To ensure all floor areas are dry with no surface water.
• To monitor all corridors and ensure all other areas are clean, with cups available in the male and female grooming area, and used cups returned to the restaurant/correct department.
• To assist the juice bar in offering service within the pool and thermal sequencing areas. To also assist in the distribution of the complimentary shots.
• To promote a professional and helpful image to the client and give full co-operation to any client requiring assistance with a prompt and helpful attitude.
• To anticipate client needs whenever possible to enhance quality service and in turn ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Efficiently managing time is essential in the fast-paced environment of housekeeping. Attendants need to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
• This role often involves prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting, and walking. Physical stamina is necessary to carry out cleaning tasks effectively and safely.
• While the primary responsibility is cleaning, housekeeping attendants often interact with guests or occupants. A friendly and helpful demeanor is important for providing excellent customer service.
• Familiarity with various cleaning techniques, equipment, and cleaning agents is essential for achieving optimal results while maintaining safety standards.
• Collaboration with other members of the housekeeping team, as well as staff in other departments, is essential for maintaining a smooth operation and delivering a positive guest experience.
• Housekeeping attendants often have access to guests' personal spaces and belongings. Respecting privacy and maintaining confidentiality is crucial in building trust with guests and maintaining professionalism.
• Awareness of safety protocols and practices is essential to prevent accidents or injuries while performing cleaning tasks or using equipment.
