Job summary

Celebrity Cruises invites an experienced Baker to oversee bakery shop operations onboard, ensuring high-quality bread production, presentation, and cost control in line with shipboard policies.

You will assist in forecasting, minimizing waste, maintaining USPH compliance, and supporting set-up for displays and daily menus, while coordinating with the Executive Chef and CDP Baker to optimize consumption records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience as a Baker in upscale hospitality environments (hotel, resort, cruise ship or banqueting).
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and equipment handling.
• High school completion or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate bakery shop and daily production in line with policy and budget.
• Prepare production forecasts and record leftovers to minimize waste and control costs.
• Assist in setting up bread displays for buffets and ensure USPH compliance.
• Ensure bakery cleanliness per Executive Chef's schedule and minimize equipment damage.
• Coordinate with stores to requisition items and manage recipes/yields per standards.
• Support CDP Baker with daily consumption recap and knowledge for guest inquiries.
