Amentum is seeking a Vehicle Chief Mechanic to supervise the reconstitution, preservation and maintenance of USAF vehicle assets, ensuring all duties meet USAF requirements. You will oversee technicians, coordinate inspections and ensure safe operations.

You will apply your knowledge of diagnostic tools, oversee parts research, and ensure timely completion of work orders while maintaining high quality and compliance with SOPs and safety standards.

Qualificações

• Must be proficient with Windows OS and MS Office apps.
• Capable of operating and repairing light to heavy military and commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of Cummins INSITE, CAT, and OBD scanners.
• Valid home country driver's license; able to obtain host nation license.
• Four years' USAF or US service equivalent vehicle repair experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent; national qualification in vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to obtain facility credentials/authorization; US citizenship required.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and train assigned maintenance technicians.
• Ensure monthly reconstitution, preservation and inspection goals.
• Perform Limited Technical Inspections (LTI).
• Ensure economical repair forms and parts requests; check local availability.
• Oversee Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) actions to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare USAF vehicle assets for air/land/sea movement.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and PPE compliance.
• Manage tools, equipment, and hazardous materials per SOP.
• Reconcile repairs and ensure quality assurance.
• Travel as required.
