Job summary

Swan Global in Doha, Qatar seeks a Senior Procurement Officer/Senior Procurement Specialist to manage end-to-end procurement for a textile manufacturing operation, sourcing raw materials, accessories, and services while ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.

You will negotiate with suppliers, develop relationships, monitor performance, and coordinate with production, planning and finance to keep operations running smoothly, with a focus on quality compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of procurement experience in textile manufacturing.
• Experience sourcing raw materials and accessories.
• Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement cycle from requirement planning to supplier delivery.
• Source and procure raw materials, accessories, and services for textile manufacturing.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve best cost, quality, and delivery terms.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues.
• Coordinate with production, planning, and finance teams to maintain operations.
• Prepare and analyze procurement reports, cost analyses, and vendor comparisons.
• Ensure timely procurement to support production schedules.
