Job summary

Nebras Energy seeking a Technical Learning & Development Senior Officer with an engineering background to oversee specialized training for recruits and staff at our energy facilities. This role focuses on planning training roadmaps, coordinating with educational bodies, and managing budgeted L&D programs to ensure the workforce gains essential skills for safe and efficient power plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mandatory).
• Minimum 8 years in L&D/Training roles within the Energy or Power sector is essential.
• Experience in building, designing, and developing training programs.
• Familiarity with Lotus Notes is an advantage.
• English proficiency is mandatory; Arabic is a plus.
• Experience working within the Gulf (GCC) area is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize specialized training roadmaps for managers and technical staff, both locally and overseas.
• Manage development programs for new recruits, ensuring their progression into competent technical roles.
• Coordinate with educational bodies and international institutions regarding scholarships.
• Manage training facilities, vendor negotiations, travel arrangements, and visa processing.
• Track L&D expenses, manage budgets, and process invoices through HRMS.
