Job summary

JS Talent Hub seeks a Technical Training & Development Specialist – Power Generation to lead specialised training for new recruits and current staff. The role demands an engineering background and hands-on capability to design structured programmes from the ground up, with engagement at power plants and operational sites.

The ideal candidate will have ≥8 years in L&D/technical training within energy or power sectors, strong facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant L&D/technical training experience.
• Experience in the energy, power, utilities or power-generation sector.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is advantageous.
• GCC experience and familiarity with Lotus Notes would be strong advantages.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and manage technical training programmes and development roadmaps.
• Deliver and facilitate technical training, including in-house, on-the-job and site-based learning.
• Manage the trainee development lifecycle, including schedules, assessments and progression.
• Coordinate with operational teams, line managers, educational institutions and external training providers.
• Manage training operations and budgets, including facilities, vendors, logistics and records.
