Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer, Flow Controls based in Doha, Qatar to drive growth in hydrocarbon, EPC and process industries by identifying strategic project opportunities and influencing specifications across the project lifecycle.

The role requires building strong relationships with EPC contractors, end users, consultants, and OEMs, leading project pursuits from pre-FEED to award, and positioning Emerson Flow Controls as the preferred supplier through value-based selling.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to identify growth opportunities and develop winning sales strategies.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with EPC contractors and end-user engagement.
• Knowledge of process automation, instrumentation, or flow control industries.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify strategic capital project opportunities aligned with business objectives.
• Lead assigned project pursuits from early engagement stages through purchase order award.
• Develop and execute project pursuit strategies that address customer business drivers and project requirements.
• Actively pursue new project leads and prequalification opportunities to position Emerson early in project lifecycles.
• Build influence with key stakeholders to maximize Emerson's value proposition and competitive advantage.
• Develop and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities to support business growth objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, FEED consultants, OEMs, end users, and project influencers.
• Communicate Emerson's value proposition to technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Collaborate with End User Sales Managers to align account strategies and project pursuits.
