Job summary

Swan Global is seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer in Doha, Qatar. You will spearhead the design and engineering of instrumentation and control systems, ensuring compliance with ISA, IEC, and project specifications.

You will review P&IDs, datasheets, control philosophies, and loop diagrams, coordinate with process, mechanical, and electrical teams, and support FAT/SAT, installation, and commissioning while ensuring SIL compliance and system reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation/Control/Electrical Engineering.
15+ years of experience in instrumentation & control with oil & gas exposure.
Knowledge of P&ID review, control philosophy, loop diagrams, and field instruments.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and engineering of instrumentation and control systems.
Review and approve P&IDs, instrument datasheets, control philosophy, and loop diagrams.
Coordinate with process, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure integration and safety.
