Job summary

Parsons is seeking a seasoned Works Inspector (Roads) in Qatar to oversee daily site operations on highway projects. Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• 10 years of experience in inspection roles for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of road construction standards, codes and regu lations.
• Proficient in MS Office and inspection reporting software.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of road construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Monitor and report on work progress, identifying delays and recommending corrective actions.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards are met.
• Document inspections with daily reports, safety reports and quality checks.
• Coordinate with construction teams for grading, paving, drainage and signage.
• Manage site safety and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders for timely material delivery.
• Assist with testing and commissioning to ensure components meet standards before handover.
