Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 14 years of experience in material engineering and QA for construction projects, including 7 years in a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience with material engineering on roads, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of international standards, testing methods, and material quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee material engineering activities for roads, drainage, utilities, and related infrastructure.
• Review material submittals, datasheets, certifications, and test reports for compliance.
• Evaluate sources of materials and approve materials, suppliers, and manufacturers per project specs.
• Monitor laboratory and field testing to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
• Review and validate mix designs for asphalt, concrete, backfill, and aggregates.
• Coordinate with Resident Engineers, Site Engineers, inspectors, contractors, labs, and suppliers.
