Job summary

Parsons in Qatar seeks a Senior Resident Engineer to lead supervision of major roads, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure projects. You will oversee site operations, manage multidisciplinary teams, and ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and in full contract compliance.

You will review technical submissions, monitor progress, and drive lean practices to improve delivery and quality. Strong leadership, communication, and client-management skills are required, along with MMUP/MME

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
20 years of experience supervising construction of major roads, drainage, and infrastructure including 10 years in senior/management roles.
Strong ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with government authorities and stakeholders.
Solid understanding of project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and look-ahead planning.
Familiarity with lean principles, risk management, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

Lead construction supervision teams and provide technical guidance across project stages.
Oversee day-to-day construction activities ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and contract requirements.
Manage project execution including schedule, quality, safety, risk, and stakeholder coordination to hit milestones.
Review and approve contractors' submissions, method statements, shop drawings, and construction methodologies.
Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE requirements across the project.
Coordinate with client, authorities, utilities, and contractors to resolve interfaces and issues.
