Job summary

Parsons in Qatar seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on major infrastructure projects. You will perform standard estimating, pricing from drawings and Bills of Quantities, and manage post-contract QS activities including payments, variations, and cash flows.

You will advise on contractual matters, monitor costs, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 8 years experience in large infrastructure projects.
• Experience in Roads and infra projects is a must.
• Consultancy experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of pre and post contract administration.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.

Responsibilities

• Measure and price using drawings, specs and Bills of Quantities.
• Handle post-contract QS functions: payments, variations, cash flows, claims.
• Advise on contractual matters and ensure contract requirements.
• Audit and monitor valuations and expenditures.
• Prepare variations, day-works and final cost estimates.
• Coordinate and monitor team activities and monthly financial statements.
