Job summary

Candidzone is seeking an experienced quantity surveyor for a consultancy project in Qatar. The role focuses on cost control, take-offs, and ensuring contractual compliance across the project's lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will hold a civil engineering or quantity surveying degree, have at least 10 years of consultancy experience, and be able to coordinate with project teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or quantity surveying.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, measurement and cost control.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and communication skills.
• Available for the project duration.

Responsibilities

• Manage quantity surveying and cost control activities for the project.
• Prepare and review quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates.
• Verify contractor valuations, variations, and payment applications.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contractual documents.
• Monitor project costs and provide accurate commercial reports.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Ensure quantities and costs comply with project requirements and standards.
