Job summary

Inspec Energy is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a Qatar project. Start ASAP for 6 months (extendable) with 10 hours per day; salary to be decided.

Candidates should hold BE or Diploma and have at least 5 years in Oil & Gas/Process industries, or 4 years in maintenance/turnarounds, with strong quantity take-off, measurement, BOQ, and cost estimation skills. Responsibilities include preparing quantities/BOQs, monitoring site quantities, reviewing invoices, assisting with cost

Qualifications

• BE / Diploma in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Process Industries | Minimum 4 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance, turnaround, or similar projects.
• Strong experience in quantity take-off, measurement, BOQ, cost estimation, and valuation.
• SAP experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Oil & Gas maintenance and construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, measurements, and BOQs.
• Monitor and verify actual work quantities and site progress.
• Review subcontractor/vendor measurements and invoices.
• Assist with cost estimation, progress valuation, and cost control.
• Track variations, additional works, and commercial changes.
• Maintain accurate quantity and cost records.
• Coordinate with Planning, Construction, Engineering, and Commercial teams.
• Support progress reports, payment applications, and commercial documentation.
• Ensure measurements are supported by proper site records and project documents.
