Job summary

Candidzone L.L.C. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor & Contract Claims Specialist for a temporary infrastructure project in Qatar.

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of construction-related quantity surveying, contract administration, claims management, and commercial leadership, with strong FIDIC and Qatar GCC knowledge. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 15 years of construction-related quantity surveying and planning experience.
• Strong contract management for complex infra projects.
• Experience with monthly valuations, contractor claims, and variations.
• Extensive knowledge of FIDIC and international contracts.
• Knowledge of Qatar General Conditions of Contract.
• Arbitration experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage QS, commercial, and contractual activities for complex infra projects.
• Prepare and review monthly construction valuations.
• Assess and substantiate contractor claims.
• Prepare Site Instructions, Variation Orders, and contractual claims.
• Review documents for compliance with FIDIC and QGCC.
• Advise on contract clauses and EOT evaluations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Provide commercial and contractual guidance for project delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and contractual reports.
