Job summary

Employment in Doha seeks a Lead Planner to oversee staff planning and ensure best practices in project controls across all projects. The role highlights to management overall progress, delays, and areas of concern while supporting delay analysis and complex project controls issues when required.

The Lead Planner will coordinate interfaces among engineering, procurement, construction, and site teams, ensure compliant planning methods, and drive forecast accuracy using Primavera P6 and SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Civil/Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of working experience; 5 years relevant; GCC experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of planning methodologies, scheduling, and project controls.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and ERP integration is preferred.
• Ability to support delay analysis, EOT, and schedule impact assessments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project planning staff and ensure consistent application of planning and controls best practices across all projects.
• Develop, review, and maintain integrated project schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, and start‑up activities.
• Monitor progress and prepare KPI reports and executive planning summaries for management.
• Prepare manpower forecasts and revenue projections aligned with approved schedules.
• Support schedule risk assessments, delay analysis, and EOT evaluations.
• Review technical documents and prepare planning‑related responses for formal correspondence.
• Coordinate planning interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction, cost control, and site teams.
• Ensure effective use of planning systems and ERP such as SAP; support data integration and reporting.
