Job summary

UrbaCon Trading and Contracting in Qatar is recruiting a Senior Planning Manager to lead the planning staff and ensure the project schedule remains in step with the contract. Duties include producing and managing programmes for design, procurement, construction and completion, reviewing subcontractor schedules, forecasting progress and advising on time recovery.

The role requires a civil engineering degree with MMUP/UPDA or PMP, eight years in the field (five supervising), and advanced Primavera

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree with MMUP/UPDA or PMP required.
• Eight years of work experience in construction, five years in supervision.
• Gulf experience (two years) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage programmes for design, procurement, construction, and completion in line with contract requirements.
• Review subcontractor schedules against the baseline and action on slippage.
• Forecast progress from status reports and test alternative schedules against changes and events.
• Coordinate updates to detailed work programmes with project managers, subcontractors and authorities.
