Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) is seeking an experienced Planning Manager in Qatar to oversee staff planning and project controls across multiple construction projects. The role emphasizes identifying delays, risks, and performance gaps, while ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

You will lead planning teams, drive schedules, and provide clear status updates to stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of experience in planning with GCC exposure, strong ERP/SAP

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of project management principles.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical abilities to assess dependencies and timelines.
• Proficiency in scheduling software to create detailed schedules and track progress.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, schedule, budget, resources, and milestones for construction projects.
• Create and manage project schedules, including critical path analysis and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to allocate resources within budget constraints.
• Identify risks and challenges and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery.
• Assist in budget preparation, monitor expenses, and implement cost control measures.
• Implement quality assurance processes to meet standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in planning and execution.
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and ensure client satisfaction throughout the lifecycle.
