Job summary

AimGulf in Doha is seeking a Planning Manager to oversee staff planning, project controls, and scheduling across multiple construction projects. You will report to management on progress, delays, and risk, and support delay analysis and complex controls issues.

The role requires extensive experience in project planning, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements. You will guide the team, collaborate with clients, and drive efficiency and quality in project

Qualifications

• 8+ years in project planning/controls, supervisory role; GCC experience preferred.
• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering; UPDA or PMP registration.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resources and milestones.
• Create and manage project schedules, including critical path analysis and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with PMs and stakeholders to allocate labor, materials, equipment and subcontractors within budget.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery.
• Assist in budget preparation, monitor expenses and implement cost controls.
• Implement QA processes to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and ensure satisfaction.
• Provide leadership and guidance to planning teams and promote professional development.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, safety, and building codes.
