Job summary

Leading Edge in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to support enterprise-level government projects onsite.

The role requires 10+ years of Oracle APEX development, strong PL/SQL and database skills, and fluency in Arabic and English to work with government stakeholders. This 1-year contract offers on-site collaboration with public sector teams and a focus on secure, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience.
Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Database, and SQL.
Experience in the government/public sector is strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of application security, data integrity, and government compliance.
Arabic and English fluency is mandatory.
Based in Qatar with valid residency and right to work.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications aligned to government sector requirements.
Build and optimise PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into APEX solutions.
Perform system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Ensure compliance with government security standards and regulatory frameworks.
Maintain technical documentation for all developed applications and processes.
Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing Oracle APEX systems.
