Job summary

Tech Junction Ltd in Qatar is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain enterprise-grade Oracle database solutions for large-scale data processing and business-critical applications.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to translate complex requirements into scalable PL/SQL programs, implement batch processing, and ensure performance and reliability of core systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
8–12 years of professional experience in Oracle Database Development.
Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
Advanced knowledge of Oracle 12c and 19c databases.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
Experience maintaining Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and External Tables.
Experience with large-volume databases and data-processing environments.
Experience with batch-processing architecture and automation.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL applications and database objects.
Develop advanced SQL queries and high-performance PL/SQL programs.
Create and maintain Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Database Jobs.
Design and manage External Tables and data integration processes.
Develop large-scale data extraction and transformation programs.
Build batch processing solutions and automated database jobs.
Generate reports and data outputs in flat-file and Excel formats using PL/SQL.
Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.
Support large-volume transactional and analytical database environments.
Troubleshoot database issues and implement long-term solutions.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and system reliability.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Maintain technical documentation and development standards.
