Job summary

Wood is recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer (Offshore) to join our team in Qatar on a long-term basis. This role delivers across study, FEED, EPC and PMC scopes, ensuring execution per the project execution plan while upholding safety and quality within manhours, cost and schedule targets.

Responsibilities include leading multi-discipline teams, coordinating with engineering disciplines and vendors, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements from concept through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Registered Engineer in Qatar (Grade A or B) desirable.
• PMP or APM certification desirable.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office for documents, trackers and schedules.
• Strong communication and leadership to manage multi-discipline teams.
• Experience with greenfield and brownfield offshore projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver project scope with safety, quality and schedule targets.
• Coordinate multi-discipline inputs and manage project deliverables.
• Lead progress meetings and maintain client satisfaction.
• Develop and control key project documents (e.g., Project Execution Plan, Basis of Design).
• Liaise with subcontractors and third parties to ensure timely delivery.
