Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager (Onshore) to lead the engineering framework for multi-disciplinary design and delivery across onshore energy projects in Qatar. You will establish execution strategies, govern quality, and coordinate interfaces with procurement, construction and clients.

The role requires a Full-Time Bachelor’s in Engineering, Chartered Engineer status or pursuing it, and substantial oil & gas/energy sector experience.

Qualifications

• Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or actively pursuing it.
• MME engineering accreditation is mandatory.
• Significant experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy sector projects.
• Proven experience as Project Engineering Manager / Engineering Manager on Pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Engineering in the last five years.
• Strong exposure to multi-disciplinary engineering and global delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement the project engineering execution framework, including procedures, deliverables and interface management.
• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams across feasibility, FEED and detailed design.
• Direct preparation and quality of engineering deliverables, ensuring alignment with scope, standards and schedule.
• Ensure timely, accurate and compliant design output meeting client specs and regulations.
• Review and approve engineering execution strategies and discipline responsibilities.
• Prepare and implement the Engineering Management Plan on projects with safety and sustainability activities.
• Manage technical VIPs—technology selection, value engineering, energy optimization, RAM, etc.
• Provide integration across engineering disciplines and coordinate with internal teams, licensors and contractors.
